About us
HAND/EYE PROJECTS
is a not-for-profit, visual arts organisation, set up in 2002 and based
in London. Our remit is the production of art-related publications and
events. The curators of HAND/EYE PROJECTS are Virginia Nimarkoh and Richard
Hylton.
Nimarkoh and Hylton have been working independently within the visual
arts for over ten years both in Britain and internationally, both as artists
and curators. Previous projects involved: Threadwaxing Space, New York;
The Institute of Contemporary Arts, London; South Bank Touring, London;
The Institute of Contemporary Arts, Boston and The Institute of International
Visual Arts, London.
David Hammons’ The Holy Bible: Old Testament is our inaugural
project and was launched in London during December 2002.
